How To Clean An Electric Toothbrush
How to clean an electric toothbrushIt is essential to clean the electric toothbrush properly after each use, or at least the removable head. The first thing to do is remove the head and rinse it under running water for a few seconds while trying to clean all of the bristles of the brush. Then shake it vigorously to remove the excess water.

In addition to the previous step, it is also recommended to perform a deep cleaning and disinfection of the head, as it is the part that comes in direct contact with the mouth and helps you remove bacterial plaque. For this, the ideal solution is to buy an oral antiseptic such as chlorhexidine and soak it for at least 45 minutes or 1 hour. After this time, rinse the head and the electric toothbrush will be completely bacteria free and ready for reuse.

It is essential to clean the handle of the electric toothbrush to remove the accumulated dirt and dust. It is best to clean it with a soft cloth dampened with a little water, or for best results, it is recommended to add a few drops of bleach to the water. Gently slide the cloth over the surface of the handle, being careful not to get the device wet on the inside.

Once the surface of the handle is cleaned, take a cotton ball and dip it in the solution. With this cotton swab, clean the handle section next to the toothbrush head in this way, and you will be removing dirt from the most difficult areas.

Always protect your electric toothbrush with a plug that has small holes in it to prevent dust particles from damaging the strings. Try to keep it straight as possible so that it doesn't come in contact with other products or items in the bathroom.
